MSci Natural Sciences (Cambridge)
I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a BA/MSci in Natural Sciences (Chemistry) in 2016. After this, I undertook a PhD at the University of Leeds on the Wellcome Trust programme, as this allowed me to try out a variety of techniques in different research areas.  It was through this programme that I developed an interest in using cryo-electron microscopy (EM) to study biological macromolecules.
My current research uses cryo-EM alongside other structural techniques to understand resistance to ribosome-targeting antibiotics in pathogenic bacteria.
In my spare time, I like to run and play video games.
